The Third Annual Charlotte’s Dance for a Chance recently held at the Ranney School on Friday, April 13, 2018 raised almost $5,800. This event was created and implemented by Charlotte Kaye, her mom, Jenny, her friend, Sarah, and a dedicated committee of Ranney students. For the past three years this event has taken place offering tremendous prizes, dancing, food and lots of fun to raise donations for The Kortney Rose Foundation for pediatric brain tumor research.
Charlotte is a grateful brain tumor survivor. She met the Gillettes in 2015 when she danced for the Dance Plus Performance Team at the annual Kortney’s Challenge event. She wanted to do something to give back to other children with brain tumors in gratitude for her recovery after tumor removal at the age of three.
And give back she did!!
Charlotte will be graduating her senior year in May 2018 with the knowledge that her efforts helped to raise over $22,000 for pediatric brain tumor research. The Kortney Rose Foundation is extremely grateful to Charlotte and her family, as well as the Ranney School community for wholeheartedly supporting this effort over the past three years!
